kerryincork Posted September 4, 2017 Author #30 Share Posted September 4, 2017 No coffee maker in the Aurea suite 😯 It's a shame as I like to make myself a cup of coffee and have it on the Balcony. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
kerryincork Posted September 4, 2017 Author #31 Share Posted September 4, 2017 Some small observations: the public toilets are clean and big. The main promenade can get really busy after shows. Some of the pretty decorations. View out of the Panorama Restaurant Sent from my SM-N910F using Forums mobile app
kerryincork Posted September 4, 2017 Author #32 Share Posted September 4, 2017 We went to Sonar last night. It was excellent and I can recommend it. We got the cocktail pack, we went in about 22.15. The people who had dinner went in at 21.30. We started to queue at 21.45, there were quiet a few children and babies going to the late show as well. There was a man who was controlling the crowd pretty well. He would let about 10 people in at a time, by the doors someone check your card. There is another person who then directs you left or right. Once you get in to the auditorium a hostess shows you to your seats. She was filling from back row to front row. We were very lucky and got front row seats. There's a little table beside you with snacks and to put your cocktail, something fizzy. They had a trio playing music while people took their seats. SquishTheWhale Posted September 4, 2017 #33 Share Posted September 4, 2017 Hi Kerry, did you pre book your cocktail/cirque show via the website? If so how did you then book the actual show on board- could this also be done via the app? Thanks for the pictures!
kerryincork Posted September 4, 2017 Author #34 Share Posted September 4, 2017 I booked the show when I was on board the ship, via the TV in our cabin. It was easy. You pick the show you want, then the day and finally the time. It asks you to confirm before your purchase is final. Hey Tina Posted September 4, 2017 #35 Share Posted September 4, 2017 Do you have any plans to see the other Cirque show also, Viaggio? According to the reviews I've read here people like it even more than Sonor, so if you liked that one I bet you'd love the other.

tassietraveller Posted September 6, 2017 #39 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Thankyou so much for your review Kerryincork. We are from Australia, cruising on this ship on Nov 3rd and becoming quite worried after having read all the terrible reviews.. Sounds like some problems are being fixed. Looking forward to your forthcoming posts.
kerryincork Posted September 6, 2017 Author #40 Share Posted September 6, 2017 I spoke to one of the waiters, they don't like the new tablets for ordering. But I didn't notice any slow down in service. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
Loceng Posted September 6, 2017 #41 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Thanks for your great review. I was wondering if you have more pictures from your suite? How is the size? It's hard to find good pictures or video of it. I'm travelling in this suite next year, and are looking for pictures and info.

kerryincork Posted September 6, 2017 Author #43 Share Posted September 6, 2017 I'd you are on deck 12 you will have one of the largest balconies. The cabin has a walk-in closet and a wardrobe in the bedroom. There is a sofa-bed in the sitting room along with fridge and vanity. The bathroom is not large. But you have a proper shower door opposed to shower curtain of old. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
Rare basketballdad Posted September 6, 2017 #44 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Thanks for all the info and photos... internet question.. are you using the ship's internet and if so what package? Or do you have an international data package to post these updates? Not sure which would be better.. I am on Verizon in the USA and it is $10 per day to roam internationally and that only works when in port.

Loceng Posted September 6, 2017 #46 Share Posted September 6, 2017 I'll be on deck 12 as well. I never sailed with MSC before, but it looks like a lovely ship. Really looking forward to sailing with it.
kerryincork Posted September 8, 2017 Author #47 Share Posted September 8, 2017 I am from Ireland, in the EU, so it is no different using my phone at home or in the EU. I have 10GB of data to use. 😀 Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
Hey Tina Posted September 8, 2017 #48 Share Posted September 8, 2017 I am from Ireland, in the EU, so it is no different using my phone at home or in the EU. I have 10GB of data to use. 😀 Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk But you're not able to use the 'roam like at home' on the ship in the middle of the ocean, right? You have to be able to connect to towers on land, for lack of a better work, correct? I'm planning on buying the 14,99 € plan from Aldi when I get to Germany, but my understanding is on the ship while cruising I'd need to purchase something if I want to connect? kerryincork Posted September 8, 2017 Author #50 Share Posted September 8, 2017 Here are some menus (dinner and lunch) I didn't always remember. We ate dinner and lunch in the dining rooms. We really enjoyed the meals in the included restaurants. Sent from my SM-N910F using Forums mobile app
