Catperson Posted December 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2005 Hi there. A while back there was a thread about some kind of shoe that is really comfortable but I don't remember the name of the shoe. Could someone please tell me what these shoes are called and can I buy them in the Toronto area and where? Thx.
The Big Booper Posted December 5, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2005 SAS shoes are built like sneakers, with inside footpads that mold to your foot. Footpads can be removed and washed. They have many styles, some that look like sneakers and others that look like loafers and laced casual shoes. Look on their website for locations. They are pricey but do comfort the foot and absorb shock. Pricey, nothing under $100 for men. Don't know prices for women; my wife wears their sandals and says cross-straps are designed to go around bunions.
morriscats Posted December 6, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 6, 2005 I read that Croc's are comfortable too.
truffles2 Posted December 6, 2005 #4 Share Posted December 6, 2005 I think the most recent thread was about Crocs. They run about $30 and are not a stylish shoe...but I hear they are VERY comfortable and "grow on you"

suezyq50 Posted December 7, 2005 #6 Share Posted December 7, 2005 As far as SAS, they are not for every one. I personally can not wear them. As far as Crocs, I have never worn them. My niece broke her toe, which time is the only thing that will heal them, crocs were the only thing she was comfortable in. She is an elementary school teacher and is on her feet all day long. CruisinDawn Posted December 7, 2005 #7 Share Posted December 7, 2005 After reading the Croc's thread I decided to ask for them for Christmas for myself & my daughter. We went to try them on and was in love. I can't wait to open them up and slip them on :D BonVoyage Dawna
