Hi again

Are there any 'special' events apart from the gala night that we need to pack for?

White party?

70's night

Etc

What nights are they usually and what are they like?

Cheers

Our tickets just mention the two extra you have above but do not say on what nights they happen, this is from the tickets....

Things to pack: casual clothes for life on board;

a swimsuit; a tuxedo, dinner jacket or dark

suit/formal gown or cocktail dress for gala

evenings; party outfits for the white party and

70s night; shoes and tracksuit for gym lovers; a

pullover or a shawl for the change in

temperature; a travel adapter for any electrical

devices.

This last week up to Yesterday there were 2 Gala, A white night and a 60,70,80`s night, the Italian night has gone but they still bring around the Baked Alaska to music in the Dining room..

Be aware though that what is your First Gala night will be the second for others who boarded in Hamburg, Amsterdam (weather permitting) and Le Havre and your Second one will be the First for the others. So you may be dressed up while others are not, very strange from the normal way of cruising.

One thing to note, if you have cruised MSC before and have an invite to the Captains Cocktail party ours was on the last night before heading to Southampton, the dress code Gala, which was the night following the Gala night! we decided not to attend.

I think they all say that, I wouldn't get too hung up about it tbh. In our party we took evening gowns and tuxedos but very few were dressed the same. The European clientele don't seem to bother much with dressing up
