Cost of Cigarettes on board

Please could anybody tell me the current price of cartons of marlboro lights on board ? Also are there better prices for buying multi packs of cartons?

 

Just wondering whether best to buy on board or at Port.

Last week on Enchantment and in July on Majesty all Marlboro's were 4 for $118. The price per carton went up the less you bought. I think a single carton was $37.

$60.00 for two cartons of Marlboro Menthol onboard Radiance. Much cheaper than the ports while in Alaska.

 

Not sure where you're cruising, but the ports in the Caribbean are usually much cheaper than on the ship.

Just make sure if you buy them in the Caribbean, they are made in the USA. There are cheaper ones, but they are made in a foreign country and we were told that they are lousy. I don't smoke, so wouldn't know, but we were told by people that bought the cheap cigarettes and were sorry they did. Buy them on board, they are either cheaper or not much more than buying them in a Caribbean port. Either way, buy American.....

That's why I warned people. My husband bought some for friends and they didn't like them at all......last time he did that. He just gets them on the ship. Still cheaper than in the states.

Ex-smoker here, but when I did I puffed Virginia Slims light menthol.

 

So we cruise and at that time we were sailing on the Freedom, western Caribbean.

 

So in the duty free shop in Cozumel there were two attached cartons for $32

 

 

Hell yea I bought them.

 

They were not the same as I bought here in Ohio.

 

They tasted funny and the cigarette burned down quickly (different paper?).

 

Well, I learned my lesson, sometimes cheaper is not always better.

 

 

Just an fYI

I cannot believe I am smoke free 6 years 4 months.......

 

Never thought I could quit, but I did....

The duty free cigarettes you buy on board can you smoke then on the ship or are they delivered to your room on the last day like they do with alcohol?

Contradictory answers, some say yes, others say no.

 

I bought rum and rothmans (only one box) in port and they only confiscated the rum to be returned last night, I kept the cigarettes and enjoyed them.

Caribbean cruises can anyone tell me if they sell packs of loose tobacco, if so what brand and what price.
