Starlight Durban Cruising Posted September 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2017 (edited) As the deck plans are the same for these two ships, can anyone advise as follows: Cabin 5025: I have read some negative reviews on other sites about this cabin on the Star. Has anyone on CC stayed in this cabin? Is it noisy? And if so is that all of the time or only at certain times of day/night? It appears to have open space above (lobby to theater), so I can’t see that it would be noisy outside of show times. Cabins 6500, 6502, 6506, 6508 next to the theater: Has anyone on CC stayed in any of these cabins on deck 6? Is there a lot of noise from the casino or the theater? (Hopefully more response here than my other posting) Edited September 18, 2017 by Starlight Durban Cruising correction
cruiser1955a Posted September 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2017 I can't help you with cabin 5025, but I've read reviews about that string of cabins by the theater. People say they're very quiet. You have your own private hallway, with plenty of separation from the Casino and theater. No noisy foot traffic outside your door. biker@sea Posted September 18, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2017 I'd Take the Inside ( Sideway's type ) 5025 any day. :D And no neighbor's too. But the deck 6 are OV 's on the other hand. J.M.H.O.

biker@sea Posted September 18, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 18, 2017 They feel roomier as you enter the center of the room with the bed to one end and the bathroom and closet the other. Plus the wave's at night rock your bed side to side not head to toe like other's do.
