CAS prepayment

We are on a 12 day on the BA and normally I don't care about the 3% service charge to move move from our account but with 12 days it may not be that cheap. I don't want to bring the cash with me because we are spending some time in NYC first and don't want to have the cash with me. Can I send CAS money ahead of time and not get hit with the service charge?

You can set up a line of credit with them. Just give them a call. I don't know if the 3% applies to it though.

No, the 3% rate doesn't apply to the line of credit, but the minimum amount to request is $5,000.

You can also do a "Front Money" deposit via cashier's cheque, traveller's cheque or wire transfer. This might be a better option for the OP if they don't want to carry that much cash.

Taking a few thousand is not a big deal.

But, if it is for you, some other options.

ATM charges $6 or so...rather cheap when taking out $1,000 at a time. If in NY, you could take out some the day you leave.

Also, if you play enough, they waive the 3%.
