Manhattan Cruise Port & Queens -> Port Uber question

2 questions if anyone has first hands experience.

 

We'll be department from our hotel in queens (Maspeth if that helps) to Manhattan cruise port, we'd like to be there by 9 or 9:30am on a Saturday at the latest. What time will we need to depart queens to get there at the desired time. We'll be using uberblack.

 

Also, will there be porters around the Manhattan cruise port around that time to take your luggage for Carnival Sunshine?

We just want to drop the bags off then go touring.

On a Saturday the traffic into Manhattan is relatively light and a half hour for your trip to POM should be fine. If your ship had docked on time and all disembarked on time, porters are beginning to handle the luggage of those embarking.
