Recommendation needed ASAP: MOS or Star Princess?

I needed a recommendation ASAP…

 

We have a family of five traveling – four adults and one 6-year-old. We can go on RCI Mariner of the Seas March 26, 2006 or Star Princess March 26, 2006. Which one would you recommend and why? We need to make a decision by COB tomorrow (12/08/05). Any input/insight would be greatly appreciated.

 

Assume price is not an issue – we are more concerned with the overall experience rather than the cost. Both cruises have similar itineraries (Western Caribbean) and cabins would be comparable.

 

We have been on RCI, Princess, Carnival, Celebrity, HAL, etc. and realize each cruise line has its strengths and weaknesses.

You have sailed with both lines so you know what they offer. If you have never been on a Voyager class ship I would vote for Mariner, simply for the experience.
