Gold*Star Posted September 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Hello, We're sailing on 24/12 and I was just wondering if almond/cashew/soy milk is available at the various coffee stations. I'm lactose intolerant so milk is a huge no-no Thanks!
Findingmywings Posted September 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2017 I need to find this out as well. On our river cruise I ended up finding a grocery store so I could keep a supply in our room.
Rare Peregrina651 Posted September 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Contact Viking directly at least 90 days before sailing and discuss it with them. They will tell you what they can and cannot do to accommodate your needs. Tellus@vikingcruises.com will help you to contact the appropriate department. Include your name, phone and booking number when you write to them.
EeezyCruiser Posted September 30, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 30, 2017 I am lactose intolerant, as well, but prefer lactose free real milk. Many varieties are in supermarkets, such as skim, 2% and regular. At the moment we are in France and they have UHC lactose free milk which doesn’t require refrigeration. We are bringing some to our HAL cruise on Monday. Then I can take a small bottle while cafe hopping on shore. If you ask Viking in advance, they will supply what you need. On shore, some countries do have lactose free Milk, most do not offer any in Cafes or restaurants. Why use but milks, when regular milk comes lactose free? I also carry lactose pills from Costco. LH25 Posted October 2, 2017 #6 Share Posted October 2, 2017 Why use but milks, when regular milk comes lactose free? I also carry lactose pills from Costco. I can't have dairy, but it's not a lactose issue. So for me, lactose free won't do it.
