Cruise Bands - The Royal Swedes

Hi.

 

We just found out a band called The Royal Swedes will be aboard Anthem this winter. We were really looking forward to seeing Katrina Love and Synergy if we book another cruise on the Anthem and are disappointed they wont be on for the holiday season.

 

 

Has anyone been on a cruise with this band before? If so, how are they?

Was on Anthem 1/7 - 1/19 with them. They were amazing. Different than Katrina but just as good.

We were on IOS with them last year. We enjoyed them a lot.

Saw them on iOS last February and on freedom of the seas out of Barcelona last September. . They are really good.

Just got off the Anthem 5/26 to 5/31. The Royal Swedes were amazing! The dance floor was packed. We saw every performance!!!

We were on Anthem May 4-12. Unfortunately, we did not finally catch them until the second to last night. They were great and we were sorry we hadn’t caught their show sooner.

We've sailed when Royal Swedes were the house band twice. They're great.

You thought they were terrible???? They were the most popular thing on the cruise!!!!

Listened to them tonight. Excellent. You cannot even remotely say they are terrible. I did make one music request for some Steve Miller. I got shot down. Still, they do play very well and 3 out of 4 sang (all very well). I do think they should take requests though.

How can we find out what band is aboard before booking? I’d love to cruise with Rock the Boat again but their Facebook page doesn’t give any clues.

That's too bad. We all have different tastes. They did do a lot of rock songs vs. Billy Joel, Elton John, etc.
