Camp Carnival question

Very strange indeed but i never had it happen to me and I wonder how oftern camps fill up where some kids cant participate.

 

is this a real occurrence? anyone here have kids not able to do camps because they were too full?

my daughter has been in camp carnival on 3 different ships and this has never happened to us.

We haven't had it happen and have cruised during school break times including NYE and Thanksgiving weeks in the last few year. However the wait to check in/out can get ridiculous.

The ships know how many children there will be onboard and in which camp they will be assigned to. They staff accordingly.

We have sailed with our 9 yr old granddaughter on 17 cruises and Camp Ocean has never been too full to take children. There have definitely been times when it's much more crowded (Spring Break and Thanksgiving) but she has never been turned away

We were on RC Liberty of the Sea over spring break and did get turned away after dinner the first night with one on my neices - club was full. My sister ran them to the clubs as soon as they finished their dinner the rest of the cruise - then she came back to the table. I don't know if Carnival has a limit on number of kids.
