Need Jade Cabin info for 11510

If anyone uses these boards and is going to be in cabin 11510, mini-suite, I would adore you if you answered a few questions. Nobody's reviewed this room for a while, and not after the refit.

The noise level of people going to the bridge.

Any noise from the upstairs? It should be under the locker room, so I would assume quiet.

Any problems with adjoining cabins?

Any problems with tobacco smoke from deck 12?

In feet or meters, how far is the electric outlet from the bed, for CPAP extension cord purposes? (I know not to bring a surge protector.)

Thanks to anyone who will indulge me and help me pack. :)

We did not stay in this cabin, however we were in the suite next door 11512. You are under the fitness center. If I remember correctly the locker rooms were on the far end of the center. So you will here a little noise during the day. It was not bad though. I think the reason it was not so bad was because of the time of the year we cruised. It was also a 11 day so there were not very many young people on board. In fact they called it a gray cruise and we fit right in. I think the fitness center opened around 8 in the morning and closed early evening.

There will be no smoking on deck 12. That is the pool deck and smoking is on deck 13 next to the new pit stop.

I can't tell you where the outlets are as we were in a suite, not a mini.

We never say very much traffic in the hall so the bridge viewing area should not be a problem.

I hope this helps.

Ok I went back and checked my records and we were really a few cabins down from you , My bad. But I still think you will be fine with that cabin. I really should have checked before I answered, sorry. You are really close to the bridge but that still will not be a problem.

Closest electrical is on the desk, which is across the room and down a bit from the bed. Likely 10-12 feet away (or more, if you want some slack on the cord.

There are USB outlets under the wall lamps by the bed, FWIW.

Thank you both. I knew about the USB ports, but that doesn't help with a CPAP machine, which needs a normal plug. I'll make sure to pack a 15 foot cord. Madgran: Our cruise on the Jade will be chartered, with nobody under 13 years of age onboard, so that should cut down on some noise and we should be awake by 8am anyway. Now I can be excited, even though it's a couple of months away.
