Is 3/1 Star Bargain a good idea?

I'm thinking about booking the Star for the revised 3/1 cruise. The price is right. I've seen a couple of people crabbing about the new itinerary but it still looks like a great way to escape and leave the kids and the cold behind!

Go for it. The right price and everyone returning seems to have enjoyed the new itinerary. From what have read dropping Acapulco is an improvement.

This is WAY strange but I distinctly remember reading another post where the 3/1 sailing has been cancelled. I would love to have someone clarify this...I hope that you are not booking on a cancelled ship. Stranger things have been known to happen!

We are booked on the 3/1 cruise and I contacted NCL today and was told that this is the last cruise before the scheduled drydock. I was also told that they will give a $100 per stateroom ($50 per person) credit for those that book prior to December 22.
