Family Snorkling and Beach Day

I am looking for suggestions for a good company to do a family snorkeling excursion with some beach time. Thinking of something like Victor Bodden tours in Roatan as a sample.

There's not anything like that in Costa Maya. Beaches in CM don't have that iron shore like in Roatan. There's good offshore snorkeling. Several of the dive shops can set that up for you. Doctor Dive, Gypsea Divers, and Nomad Divers are good places to contact. I believe all have websites.

 

Some cruisers have had okay snorkeling off the beach at Blue Kay in Mahahual's malecon. Ships usually offer several snorkeling beach excursions, including power snorkeling up at Uvero Beach. That's about 30 minutes north of the port and only open for ship excursions.
