zitsky Posted October 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2017 I'm having a brain fart with how the description is written for the UBP. Does UBP include *bottled* beer or just draft? I want my Sam Adams!! I'm mostly a wine person but I do enjoy a decent beer. I have to say I'm impressed with the wine variety by the glass, even if not that great. On Viking river cruise, you had red or white unless you bought their beverage package.
Rare KeithJenner Posted October 30, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2017 Yes, it includes all beer. Bottled, canned or draft. They open the bottles when they give them to you. I think they are instructed to, but if I’ve ever asked them not to then they always give them unopened.
NCLfamily Posted October 30, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2017 Yes it does. No buckets though, single bottles only. Good choice too. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Kfamilycruise Posted October 30, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2017 It absolutely includes bottled.
tunaman2011 Posted October 30, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 30, 2017 Greetings Yes, most the bottled beers are included. There are a few at the brew house (if you are on Escape) that are extra but for the most part you can drink beer till your heart's content. harz99 Posted October 30, 2017 #7 Share Posted October 30, 2017 Certainly are, on our recent Dawn B2B I don't think they'd ever got rid of so much Pilsner Urquel in O'Sheehans as they did to me!
Rare POA1 Posted October 30, 2017 #8 Share Posted October 30, 2017 Yes. There are more cans and aluminum bottles (Cabottles?) though. Chris J. Posted October 30, 2017 #10 Share Posted October 30, 2017 Does their beer selection include Old Milwaukee Lite, Natural Light, Keystone, Coors Banquet, Rolling Rock, Milwaukee's Best, PBR, Old Style, or Schlitz? Niffernay Posted October 31, 2017 #13 Share Posted October 31, 2017 Yes it does. No buckets though, single bottles only. Good choice too. If you're really nice, they will bring you a bucket to put your beers in. And ice. And they'll keep the bucket full. ;p:cool:
fourofakind Posted October 31, 2017 #14 Share Posted October 31, 2017 Yup plenty of bottled beer. Outside on the waterfront by Maltings they have Guinness cans...yummy! Take care of your bartender and they will leave it closed if you request it. I always grab one on the way back to the room so I can have a few there when I want to just relax in the room. Keep em cold in the fridge plenty of room.

2hearted Posted November 1, 2017 #17 Share Posted November 1, 2017 Other than Escape, do any ships carry any IPAs? Mainly the Sky and Star. The lists I have seen looks pretty thin, but I’m hoping someone can confirm if they do or not. With the huge craft beer craze, I would be a little surprised if they don’t. Sent from my iPhone using Forums Recently they started carrying Lagunita's Little Sumpin' fleetwide. Not sure if it's reached all the ships yet, but a few trip reports over the last few months have confirmed it's pretty common on NCL ships now, even if the menus haven't been updated.
