Chef's Table on Regal Princess

Hi does any one know if we can reserve chef's table before boarding the ship? WE have done this when sailing Carnival.

We did the Chef's Table on the Grand last September, we were not able to put in for it until we were on board the ship. First thing we did when boarding, was the call the dinning line and put our name on the list.

I did like 3 Chef Tables on Princess. One of them was on Royal.

 

You can't pre-reserve it. So I usually call DINE or see MDR host the moment we get on the ship. It's not something that's well-advertised, but it can still get sold out fast. I think only NCL allows you to reserve Chef's Table before boarding, only if you have a butler.

 

Only annoyance I had is you will get an answer like "Ok, I will forward your request and we will notify you" and that's it. No info on when, or even if you got "accepted" in the event. Once, we had a pre-meeting a day or two before the event. On Royal, we just got a note saying "Meet Maitre'D at Soandso location and this time for your Chef's Table"
