allentownahoy Posted October 4, 2018 #26 Share Posted October 4, 2018 Is there much of a drop off at Jolly Beach? I have found this to be a problem at many of Antigua's beautiful beaches.
Mommy4lyfe Posted October 4, 2018 #27 Share Posted October 4, 2018 Last year I visited Beachlimerz in Antigua. A beautiful and calm beach. This is a restaurant that offers a day pass for $60. It's not an all you can eat. Day pass include a meal with 2 meats, 2 sides a salad and desert. 2 bottles waters and 2 alcohol drinks. Use of all non motorized equipment. Beach chair and umbrella. They also have pay as you go and a BBQ lunch. It is secluded. The owners name is Gail. Google the name for more info. Going again this December while on Grandeur and again in 2019 while on Freedom. cruisinglady65 Posted October 5, 2018 #28 Share Posted October 5, 2018 Has anyone been to Castaways Beach in Antigua? If so, was the water calm, or rough? Its a shame that you pay for an excurison to go, and get there to find the water very rough...was in Antigua last year...was taken to Valley Church Beach, and water was so rough, you couldnt get in to it...also was told that there was a drastic drop once you entered the water... Would appreciate any information on Castaways Beach, as i am considering taking a ship excursion once i get there... Thank You, Cathy
