Does any one know when the star is due to arrive in Aus?

 

It is supposed to be in Singapore on 16/17 Dec,so however long it takes to sail to Brisbane after that.

it had to cancel its christmas cruise becasue it wont be there in time however its first cruise will be the new years eve one when ever that leaves

She departs Singapore on December 17, and apparently transit time Singapore/Brisbane is about 8 days, so she'll probably get to Brisbane around Christmas Day, ready for final preparations for her maiden cruise departure on December 28.

Wouldn't it be neat if she sailed up the Brisbane River on Xmas Day.

They could tie a big ribbon on her mast,a Xmas present for Australia.........

Haven't heard yet, I'm guessing it won't be straight away - I think it was about 2 or 3 months after Pacific Sun started sailing before she was 'officially' christened. I guess they want her settled in before they do it.

Heard that because Sun was late arriving in Aus,Lisa Curry Kenny wasn't available to do the christening till later.

PACIFIC STAR 51216P

ARRIVES 16-DEC 21:00 FROM PORT SAID

DEPARTS 17-DEC 12:00 - TO BRISBANE, QL

 

She's only there for 15 hours, so it must just be a reprovisioning stop, or to to pick up the rest of the crew, entertainers, etc, that have will have flown to Singapore from wherever to meet the ship and prepare for her first cruise.

 

 

So with a transit time of 7-8 days from Singapore, Pacific Star will arrive in Brisbane around Christmas Eve/Christmas Day/Boxing Day.

She has left Singapore and is underway for Brisbane.

I wonder if they have the have painted the funnel blue yet?
