asalligo Posted November 16, 2017 #26 Share Posted November 16, 2017 FTTF in New Orleans in March got me a solid 4 hours extra on the ship. I was sitting on my balcony at 4pm still watching a giant line of people waiting to board. Now whether or not 3 or 4 hours on embarkation day is worth $69 is something only you can decide. asalligo Posted November 16, 2017 #27 Share Posted November 16, 2017 We will be on the Dream in February out of NOLA and have FTTF (first time with FTTF). We can get to port at 10am in NOLA? We checked in before 10am with FTTF in March
CA_Cruzing Posted November 16, 2017 #28 Share Posted November 16, 2017 There are other benefits to FTTF that made it worth it to me before I turned Platinum. Not only can you get an earlier check in time and have less of a wait to board, but your cabin will be ready when you get on. Otherwise you need to wait until 1-1:30PM and carry whatever you don't check with you until then. Also the the dedicated Guest Services line is way better. Not many people really plan to go there, but if you do it's usually due to an issue and it's nice to be in and out fast without having to go at odd hours. Plus if you have any tender ports and want to maximize your stay or have private tours that leave early, you can be amongst the first off. Exactly. Some people like it and some don’t see the value in it. We always cruise with it as it makes cruising easier for us.

firemanbobswife Posted November 16, 2017 #30 Share Posted November 16, 2017 I hear everyone's point of view. one question- if you have one port that is tendered- we would be first to disembark with FTTF? Would that be worth it. I say that bc one port is already shorten- (not a complete day). If we can get off early and enjoy the port- yes to FTTF. Yes you get Priority tendering.
