Macdon221 I’m booked on that cruise too. Second MSC cruise. Looks like they changed San Juan and St. Marteen. Looks like a downgrade to me. Any thoughts about the change? Any thoughts about the change? Sent from my iPhone using Forums St. Maarten is too damaged unfortunately and we can't go there. Antigua has beautiful beaches and some historical areas (Nelson's Dockyard) but not the shopping St. Maarten used to have.St. Thomas certainly has more beaches than San Juan and will have the shopping. I'm looking forward to spending money around St. Thomas to help the recovery. Sent from my SM-N950U using Forums mobile app

macdon221 Posted November 19, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 19, 2017 For us..... most all ports are the same. Same shopping and the local beach. We always have a great time on cruises. No bad experience yet! Macdon221

JAGR Posted November 20, 2017 #8 Share Posted November 20, 2017 Agree. Beaches and shopping are available wherever your dock. We are in YC on this cruise, so we may never get off in port.

While St. Thomas is not my favorite port and I might be inclined to stay aboard on a regular cruise, I will get off and do my best to support the local economy during their recovery. Every little bit helps! Sent from my SM-N950U using Forums mobile app

JAGR Posted November 20, 2017 #12 Share Posted November 20, 2017 Good point on St. Thomas! Will spend money there. Just hoping that Ig****o and Marco give us some insider information when we board, since they will be on the second half of a B2B.
