Epic/first day dining

What restaurants are available to eat in when you board the ship? I prefer not to go to the buffet when I board.

Sort of thinking Sheehan's might be open but is there anything else available. Thanks.

You will be getting on at dinnertime so everything will be open. They don't seem to want to let us off the ship :)

Dinnertime? We're on our shuttle to MCO. One mdr opens around noon. You'll get info sheet when you check in.

There is usually one MDR open which tends to be quieter than the buffet or o'sheehans.

 

But... sounds like there's delayed disembarking due to customs/immigration if your heading to EPIC? so there could be slight delay, but hopefully nothing major. :)

Yep, those are exactly same restaurants and times we had on embarkation day this past December.

 

I don’t have high expectations for the food or service on embarkation day because many of the crew are working to restock the ship. On our Epic cruise we ate at O’Sheehan’s that first day and the service was very slow but, the food was better than I expected.
