We have reservations at this resort in March for 2 nights pre cruise. Usually stay at Embassy Suites but this resort is already up and running. Has anyone stayed there and can let me know what you thought about it.

We will be there in January. Looks like a nice place, on the beach. It is a Marriott property. We have stayed in the area before...just down the street at the Stellaris, and liked the area. If I can find this thread when we get home in Feb, I will tell you about it:D

We are booked here in 2 days pre cruise on the Summit, Thanksgiving the 23rd and 24th. Stayed in San Juan about a dozen times, never here at the Renaissance. Will let you know about the hotel and surroundings.

 

We have been canceled by Caribe Hilton, Embassy Suites and InterContinental.

Wife and I spent 3 Days there last summer. Very nice, we enjoyed our stay.

We've been there a few times and love it. Right on the beach. Stores like Walgren's within walking distance. From an email we received they are up and running.

we have stayed here pre-cruise 3-4 times. this is a very contemporary hotel with its own beach along with several pools. because of the way it is laid out, there are many little nooks to hang out in privacy if you don't want to be in the crowded areas. the hotel beach food is decent and not too steep, but there are many local restaurants right on the street where the hotel is located. i'm sure you will enjoy it.
