mocrimlaw Posted November 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2017 Our ship stops in Picton, and I was planning on a cruise on Queen Charlotte Sound. In looking at a map, it looks like the ship will be coming through the sound to dock at Picton, so perhaps we will already see the same thing, though of course not from a small boat. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!
kilworth Posted November 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 26, 2017 At the end of October this year we did the Magic Mail Run around the islands dropping of mail and supplies to the islanders. It was an outstanding afternoon. Beautiful scenery which you won't see from the ship. Go to http://www.beachcombercruises.co.nz.

Rare MicCanberra Posted November 27, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 27, 2017 As has been answered, yes and no, you will see some of the same things but with a much different perspective and so much more of all the sounds rather than just the route in and out.
