Momto5boys Posted December 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2005 Has anyone made a call using a calling card at a payphone here? I have an AT&T card and the international access code to use here but was told it may or may not work.

The only port I could find to take one was Freeport in the Bahamas. Good luck
Momto5boys Posted January 5, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted January 5, 2006 I've had luck using an AT&T card in Grand Cayman & Cozumel...both were near the port. It's a prepaid card and I did get the access numbers for Martinique and the other islands we're visiting. I called Cable & Wireless to see about getting one of their cards and they told me that AT&T should work at the airport, seaport, & many hotels. Anyone ever had luck calling near the port in Martinique, St. Maarten, or Barbados?
pomliane Posted January 6, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 6, 2006 I asked for you. It seems only the prepaid card working here is the AT&T one. But You should ask the operator. Also you can buy the same type of card here in Martinique or you can also use your credit card. But it will surely be more expensive. The number to call United state from Martinique is : 00 1 +your phone number
