Bio Bay ?

Has anyone heard if the bio bays in Puerto Rico have gone dark, as they say, since the hurricane? I've been wanting to go to one for years and it would finally work out for me when we are there in February. But I'm worried that it won't be worth it if they aren't great right now.

I was looking into visiting when we started planning our trip. I read that the bioluminescence was dimmer than it was in the past. I had read this in several older articles. I ended up not researching any further because it sounded like we had to stay in a different hotel than the one we already booked in San Juan (and we are traveling with 4 older kids, and I just was just hesitant). I am not sure if the luminescence comes and goes. I also do not know how the hurricane effected it. If you do end up going please share your experience. When I first heard about it, I really wanted to go - may have to reconsider if it is worth it! (And I have time to change plans!)
