napria Posted December 9, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2017 We'll be going to San Juan a day early for our Late March/early April cruise. My sister just told me to make sure I visit one of the bioluminescent bays. I knew nothing about them and googled. They look fascinating. I've tried to see if they are in decent shape after the hurricanes, but the only information I can find is news stories saying that they might be adversely affected by Maria. Does anyone know if it's worthwhile to try to go see one in March?
napria Posted December 27, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted December 27, 2017 I guess I’m the only one interested in this. In case anyone else is interested I just heard a story on the radio (December 27) that the Mosquito Bay bioluminescent bay is slowly recovering. They said it’s about a “2 on a scale of 10”
Playa Cofi Posted December 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 29, 2017 I live on Vieques. Unfortunately Mosquito Bay is closed for the foreseeable future. :( Sorry.
