I found it icon_smile.gif It was an excursion of the Celebrity web site:

Tropical Jungle Tour

Approximate Duration: 5 Hours

Adult: 34.00 (USD) | Child: 18.00 (USD)

It is a jungle out there - and we will guide you through it. Join your guide on this unique tour to the jungles of Mexico. After departing the pier, your mini bus will travel south along the coastal road to Mismaloya. On arrival, your guide will escort you into the foothills of the mountains to one of the most exciting jungle locations in the area. Experience first hand the exuberant growth and lush vegetation that characterizes this tropical forest. The movie "Predator" was filmed here due to the area's dense vegetation and primitiveness. There will be ample time to explore the surroundings, take a swim in the natural pools. A beverage and snacks are included.

On the return drive, a brief stop will be made in town for shopping. You will have the option of returning to the ship after shopping or remaining in town and returning on your own.

  • 10 months later...

We have been to Puerto Vallerta several times for extended stays. Just past Mismaloya Beach (which once was an absolutely empty beach and now is filled with hotels) is a turn off for "El Eden" where you can lunch under the palapas, enjoy your cerveza, watch wild parrots and go swimming in a beautiful natural pool fed by a waterfall from the mountains. There, too, you will see one of the heliocopters from the movie Predator.

The food is excellent!
