Luggage on Delta Planes Requirements?

How can you say that is tiny.

Items should not exceed 62" or 157.5cm (length + width + height).

That would be a 30" high by 20' width by 12 iich deep bag. Not sure how you could keep anything larger under the 50 lbs per bag limit.

I use a 26X17X14 = 58" bag that if fully packed would be close to 60lbs

Thake two smaller bags but where you will but all that in the cabin is beyond me. :D

First, I can't find my original post, so I'm posting this again.

On Delta's website it says that a person's luggage can be no bigger than 62". That is so tiny! My dad says that they don't really check for the dimensions...just the weight. Is this true?

This is one of the biggest bags (up rite) in the luggage line:eek: And if you pack it to the limit it will be over 50lbs., easy.

If you check in at the curb they will weigh, not measure. Inside the airport they will weigh and if you get someone that is having a bad day or wants "job security:rolleyes: " they will measure. Also, don`t put anything in the outside pockets.

I would rather check-in 2 smaller ones than one large. I keep the large for cruising out of NY....no flying;)
