Baxter Posted December 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2005 Hi there Our cruise in February will be our first on RCCL. We have cruised before on Princess, so we know how they do things. If we were on Princess, we would have recieved a pre-cruise package with information on excursions, etc. We haven't seen anything from RCCL as of yet. Is that normal? What is the standard paperflow? We just want to make sure we're not missing anything... Thanks in advance!
springtxbill Posted December 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 16, 2005 You will get your documents which has all the info on excursions tec about 30 days prior to the cruise. However, you can go the www.royalcaribbean.com and with your booking number look at and purchase excursions.:)
nyer Posted December 16, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 16, 2005 Don't worry, you are not missing anything. I am cruising in Feb and have not received any docs yet. If you want to look at the excursions that are available for your cruise, check out RCCL's website. You will be able to view all of the excursions that will be offered to you. I think that you should receive docs sometime in Jan. Enjoy your cruise.
knothead Posted December 16, 2005 #4 Share Posted December 16, 2005 Go to the RCCL web site and look for the "land / shore excursion link. If you have your booking number and its not to far in advance you will be able to view all the excursions as well as pre-book them from this site. imatarb Posted December 16, 2005 #5 Share Posted December 16, 2005 the rccl.com website is actually very user-friendly, and you are able to do many things with your booking there.
MariTenor1 Posted December 16, 2005 #6 Share Posted December 16, 2005 I would also suggest going to the ports of call section of these boards. You may find good information regarding local tours of the same places for less money and less crowded.
wastin' away Posted December 16, 2005 #7 Share Posted December 16, 2005 I am curious, if I go onto RCCL website and book a shore excursion, do I pay online, do they automatically charge it to my shipboard acct or do they automatically charge it to the credit card that I booked the cruise thru? You have to tell them at the time you book the shore excursion what credit card you want it booked to.
