Love2cruz1970 Posted December 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2017 Hello I'm new to Cruise Critic.. I'm sailing on NCL Epic room 12181 this will be my 1st time sailing with NCL. Wondering if anyone can tell me how this balcony room is? I was offered an upgrade is it worth the extra money to move to a Mini Suite or the Havens spas? bbryan5 Posted December 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 29, 2017 I just took a quick peek at the deck plans.. it looks like you have rooms above, and below you, no noisy venues, so that's good. It's almost mid-ship, which is also good.. no problems, or negative aspects about that room, from what I can tell. Enjoy your cruise!

EDITQUOTE The mini suite will have a larger shower or tub (which is less claustrophobic than balcony “transporter tube” shower. The Havens room is the difference between coach and First Class on an airplane. If you you like and can afford a first class cabin, the Havens is the way to go. And the Spa room comes with two Thermal Suite passes worth $400.
