Is there a point to preordering the water package before sailing on the Harmony? Are there any sales while on ship? Thanks!

I've not seen the package on sale.

We do it because it is handy. When we first enter our stateroom, waallah... water is there.

Suites may have a few free bottles in the room at initial embarkation, but I've not seen them replenished. Well, except for Star Class, I'm sure they get whatever they want.

You get either 12 or 24 bottles depending on the package you purchase.

One bit of info that might be helpful - the Evian bottles that you pre-purchase are 1 Liter bottles, so they're large. The bottled water that you purchase onboard are the smaller 16.9 oz bottles (not Evian). At least, I never noticed 1 Liter Evian water available for purchase? If I'm wrong, someone chime in.

We are leaving from San Juan and I am planning on getting the sport bottle size - 6pk or maybe 2 6pks at the Walgreens at my hotel and putting it in its own duffle bag with a room tag. Heard that has been working.

As checked luggage? I'd presume that might rupture all over the luggage of others.

No, buying it in San Juan, putting it in a rolling duffle (I have a lightweight foldup one) and attaching a luggage tag to it. Just going to check it in at the ship with the rest of our luggage.
