We made reservations through Karib early last summer for March of this year, then they sent us emails after the hurricaine stating all reservations were cancelled. We then booked with MaxKart so I'm glad to hear that everything went great. Luckily for me, after a few emails, I was refunded my deposit from Karib, since I paid through PayPal. We rented on Jan 20, 2018 for Feb 2nd Ms Koningsdam. Max only accepted PayPal although we preferred to pay with credit card. Paid $90.00 in advance. We met him outside of the gate, he got us on our way. He had trouble staring the cart. He got us on our way and the cart came to a complete stop 10 minutes later. We called and he came and started the cart again. We did ask for another and he said he didn't have one. This time, the cart ran another 10 minutes and stopped. We called him again and told him we wanted our money back. He met us with a friend and the friend returned us to the ship. Max promised on the road that he would refund our money. We returned home and I was expecting my refund. I emailed Max 4 times with no reply. I opened a dispute on Pay Pal and still he would not reply. I opened a claim and he would not reply to Pay Pal either. Finally, after 10 days, Pay Pal found in my favor and refunded the whole amount. After all of this, I discovered that people have been able to "hold" golf carts for just $10.00. I don't think that Max thought I would pursue the matter.
