GEM: What Outdoor Bar Allows Cigars?

It has been a few years since I was on the GEM...

I believe there was an outdoor bar that allowed smoking.

What was the name of that bar and do they still allow cigar smoking

there?

 

 

The only time I smoke my cigars are on my cruises and I prefer the outdoor venue than the indoor.;)

Hi Don,

 

They did allow cigar/cigarette smoking on Deck 13, The Bali Hai Bar. If you were looking at the bar, it was the tables to the right of the bar.

We just got back from the Epic, Western Caribbean 12/9/17-12/16/17.

 

We are flying to Miami for a 3 day cruise on the Sky 2/9-2/12.

 

No cruise during 2018, Taking my wife's family to Ireland in August.

 

We are booked on the Dawn, 10 day Southern Caribbean out of San Juan, Feb 7th - Feb 17th, 2019.

 

Do you have any cruises planned in 2018 ?

Sounds like you are keeping busy. The Ireland trip sounds great.

The Dawn was my first NCL ship back in 2005....been cruising with NCL ever since and we are now Platinum Plus.:D

 

We are doing a 10 day Caribbean cruise on the GEM this Saturday with all my daughters and one son-in-law celebrating their 40th birthday. Their two boys (my grandsons) will be with us also! :)

 

Then on February 2nd, Barbara and I go on our 14 day Caribbean cruise on the Breakaway. This was planned over a year ago before we found out about the family cruise. We love our days at sea and this cruise's itinerary changed because of the hurricanes and there are 6 ports and 7 sea days including Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao and Martinique which are ports we have not been to in years.;)

 

In January 2019, we have reservations for another 14 day out of NYC on the Escape as the ship starts cruising from NYC.

We do not like flying and since we live less than an hour's ride to the pier, we love our winter cruises out of NYC.
