rferrer00 Posted January 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2018 A group of four adults would like to wander around Cannes beaches/ restaurants/ bars/ cafes during our port stop. Do we need to plan this out/ make reservations, or can we expect that there will be enough availability in these types of places that we can be spontaneous? If it matters, we are porting there on a Friday. Also, does anyone have recommendations for beaches/ restaurants/ bars/ cafes near the port (or a short cab ride away)? We don't want to stay anywhere all day, so recommendations for places that don't have massive daily entry fees are appreciated. We are also planning to drink some french wine during our visit, so beaches with restaurants or bars are a must. Thanks in advance.

For sidewalk cafes, I'd recommend you check out the area around the open air market; Marche Forville, also at the base of the Le Sequet area, there were lots of little outdoor cafes... all of this is very easy walking distance from where the tenders drop you off. Morgans Posted February 11, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2018 You will be spoilt for choice - dozens of places to eat . There is a pleasant public beach right in the town. The old town has some very pleasant restaurants where you will have a decent choice of wines.
