Must buy items in Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel?!

MoBay is a crappy stop and there isn't much right at the port for vendors. In Freeport we buy Appleton Rum and there is a vendor who sells wooden creations out in the walkway that we really like. I haven't seen either at the port in MoBay. If you are going to be traveling away from the port itself, then look for Appleton.

 

As far as vanilla goes, we have bought lots of it in Cozumel and Roatan and never had them confiscated at the gangway.

I buy 925 silver in Cozumel, one year on a cruise prior to xmas I found a small sterling pill box that I bought half dozen as gifts. $50 for the 6. Still have mine.

 

Another time I brought a huge Mayan Calendar hand carved and dragged it thru airports and cabs. It’s a centerpiece in my living room now

Finally Patron Gold not available in the states
