smf81 Posted December 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 19, 2005 What's your favorite thing on that ship to plan for/look forward to doing??? That's easy: lay in bed at night with the balcony door open, listening to the ocean!
Druke I Posted December 19, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 19, 2005 I had an English teacher who used to go on and on about the difference between "lay" and "lie", but I shouldn't go there. People watching is great sport on any ship.
cactusrose Posted December 19, 2005 #4 Share Posted December 19, 2005 We must have had the same teacher. Mine used to say people lie (in more ways than one), hens lay.
PhillyTom Posted December 19, 2005 #5 Share Posted December 19, 2005 There wasn't a whole lot of activities, especially by the pool. We sailed onthe 11/12/05 and had this lousy guitar player by the pool. Would have preferred calypso music. Theater shows were okay. The best thing about the activities were the Cruise Director's staff. Very visible, friendly and energetic. Don't expect a lot of activities to participate. Just relax and enjoy the beautiful ship. grandmaa Posted December 20, 2005 #6 Share Posted December 20, 2005 We like to play Trivia and have always met the nicest people at the games. It is always fun to learn new things and to see how much we do not know!! The exercise classes in the gym are also good to attend and help to keep the weight under some (and I mean a little some) control. Or, you can just sit back and relax and enjoy. ggcruiser Posted December 20, 2005 #8 Share Posted December 20, 2005 I thought the shows were great at night. I enjoyed the Bingo, too. The group trivia games were def. fun. Eating was great, esp. the pizza by the pool. Art auction is fun & free champagne :) Soo much to do!
JJHA04 Posted December 20, 2005 #9 Share Posted December 20, 2005 We sailed on the 10/1 Mexican Riviera sailing and there was plenty to do on the ship. We played bingo a few times, had drinks in every bar, ate a ton, and just people watched. Just look at your Princess Patter and read about the day's activities, never was bored, and there was always something to do. Enjoy your cruise.
