Sparetiming Posted January 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Hi everyone, we will be in port on March 22nd and would like just to take taxi to beach. There are so many to choose from but I will tell you what we are interested in: 1. Snorkeling 2. Reasonable priced chairs and umbrellas 3. Good food and laid back, not so rowdy bar 4. No crowds. 5. Restroom and shower Looking at either Eagle Beach or Palm Beach, but it seems like Palm Beach is more crowded and noisy. We are 7 adults no kids. astridwilson Posted March 17, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2018 Where is the mitsugirly's thread??
Hatteras51 Posted March 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2018 That thread is old now and probably buried. For snorkeling, we go to Arashi or Boca Catalina . You can walk between the two, along the road. There is no good snorkeling on Eagle Beach or Palm Beach .
Momsez Posted March 17, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 17, 2018 Neither Palm or Eagle will be good for snorkeling. Palm will be crowded and loud. Umbrellas $50 when we were there recently. Would never go back. For good snorkeling, although no facilities to speak of, and you need to have your own gear, take the public bus to the Malmok area.
