Splattpratt Posted January 17, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2018 My group is sailing out of NOLA on Feb. 11th on the Pearl and I heard that the disco didn't have music playing out loud and instead everyone dancing was wearing headphones. If this is true, someone please tell us about your experiences. We love to dance and cut up but honestly this sounds a bit odd [emoji15] Sent from my iPad using Forums
campermom Posted January 17, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2018 This is also sometimes called a Hush Party...it is pretty fun! The DJ plays 2 different tracks and the headphones can switch back and forth. It is a riot to see people dancing to music that you can't hear, and if you think that most people don't sing as they dance, you are wrong...such fun! OctoberSky Posted January 17, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 17, 2018 How bizarre and funny!! I would have to go watch this!
17cruisesnsl Posted January 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 17, 2018 My friend's daughters were gifted a cruise to Bermuda for graduation (not on NCL). They said the silent disco was for them the highlight on their ship. They said it was too funny - one person slowly swaying, the next break dancing, etc.
Rare BirdTravels Posted January 17, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Great to know! We have done this on RCL before. Never seen it on NCL.
