Local Shopping

Some years ago I remember shopping alongside either the old post office or the old customs house (can't remember which) where locals set up small tables with a diverse variety of merchandise, some local, some not. Has anyone seen this type of activity recently? Thank you in advance for any input.

We just got back from our cruise and stay in Old San Juan. When we were down by Raices restaurant we walked past an open square where there were vendor tables set up with crafts, etc. By the time we came back it was closed, so unfortunately I can't tell you what kind of items were there.....but we did go into a few shops in that area and found some great P.R. made items. HTHs!
