Couple questions Gem cabin and dining

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if deck 10 is quietish for cabins., have booked inside mid 10573 and have not been on the gem before. Also what are the chances of getting a table for 2 in main restaurants, are there many? Thanks so much for any replies

There are cabins above and below so it should be a quiet location. We've been on the Gem a few times and always asked for a table for two. Since NCL doesn't have assigned dining, you won't be seated with others and there are many tables for two.

We were on deck 10 on the Gem and since there are cabins above and below it was very quiet. Of course there are other factors like neighbors, next to an elevator or crew door. Never had a problem getting a table for two at any venue.

Thanks peacypooh, good to know. Know about bad neighbours - were on RCL cruise and neighbours woke me up at 4am arguing (he had just come in, she had been waiting for him) interesting at first but had to go to front desk to get them to shut up in end!

You're welcome.Sorry you had that occur.
