vwgolf Posted January 23, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2018 My wife and I are travelling on Adventure of the Seas in August and elected to go for Freedom/My Time dining. I've looked at our online cruise planner and see that there is an option to reserve times in the MDR. As it's our first RCI cruise I was wondering if this was essential or is it OK to just turn up in the evening and wait? Can waiting times be excessive? We have no problem with sharing tables - in fact, we prefer to!

Our experience has been that the wait times for a party of two are not bad.
Mikew0805 Posted January 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2018 As a party of two we usually wait no more than 5 minutes, and that is mostly because they are waiting for an escort.
vwgolf Posted January 24, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted January 24, 2018 OK, thanks, looks like there's no need to book times in advance. I like to keep my options open!
