Trying to find information on the shuttle RCL arranges from the pier to town. This is an over night port. We are planning a tour leaving from downtown @ 8:00am. RCL wont' advise the start time for this shuttle or the drop off point just that it is a third party arrangement. The pier they are using is not one of the usual piers.

If anyone has been there on a RCL cruise is it easy to walk through the industrial port to seek local transportation.

The tram looks like it will work.

Thanks for any input

Dave

Depend upon where your port is, sometimes its Dun Laoghaire or sometimes its closer to the City.

If Dun Laoghaire then highly recommend the DART, which is a local Train system. Very regular efficient system and economical.

You can see Dun Laoghaire on the map which I believe is for port of call. Hopefully your tour is getting out of the city to explore the Irish countryside.

If you dock at Maritime House North Quay, take a taxi, would be 10-15 Euros but depends upon where your tour is living from.

Have fun in Dublin, its where I was born and live for many 20 + years.

PS: Love Brilliance and Radiance Class.

Slainte !

Thanks for the reply! I see we are now birthed @ Ocean33 which is walkable to the tram! We are taking a tour to Kilkenny, Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough. Do you know if taxis are available in the area at 7am.

The walk to Pt Luas tram station is a mile form the pier. Roundtrip cost is 4.4euro into Dublin. Taxi if available would be 13.5euro. Tram starts at 6am. Looks like we will go with the tour.
