Vision of the Seas - Sightseeing recommendations

There will be eight of us travelling together on a Dec. 23rd Mexican Riviera cruise and we would like to arrange our own in-port sightseeing. Does anyone have any recommendations for us in terms of transportation arrangements or what to see in Acapulco, Cabo, Manzanillo, Mazatlan, and Ixtapa? Thanks for your help.
