Tonimarieb Posted January 30, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2018 Thinking of doing the Carnival excursion to Trunk Bay. I’ve heard it’s one of the most beautiful beaches and I’m excited about the snorkeling. The time is very limited and a bit pricey for this excursion. Curious if it is truly worth it? Thoughts? Cruising Cindy Lou Posted January 30, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2018 Truck Bay is one of the prettiest beaches I have ever been to. The Snorkeling was good. But we did this on our own, not an excursion thru the line. I noticed for some reason a lot of the excursions to St John are very short.
Ms411 Posted January 30, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2018 The St John On Your Own excursion used to give you 4 hours on St John. Based on recent posts, the excursion offered on your ship may only give you 2 hours on St John. Keep in mind the time shown on ship excursions includes travel time to and from. Many people do it on their own, so you should post in your Roll Call to see who wants to go to St John.
df5250 Posted February 3, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2018 We went to Trunk Bay on our own last March. It was beautiful! I only wish I could go back again on my next cruise in a few weeks, but we are not in port long enough! Sent from my iPad using Forums
Tonimarieb Posted February 5, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted February 5, 2018 Thanks for your input. Really considering the carnival catamaran excursion instead of the Trunk Bay excursion.... Trunk Bay looks beautiful but I think our son will enjoy the catamaran over the long trip to Trunk Bay
