Victory or enchantment of the seas

hubby and I are new to cruising and want to see key west. After searching and deciding to book for April, I wanted to ask which ship would be nicer. I saw enchantment has mixed reviews and victory just had some upgrades. We thought about trying a 5,6 or 7 day cruise but heard it better to try a short cruise the first time. Any suggestions on other ships that go to key west? We looked at carnival royal Caribbean and Norwegian, and want to sail from New Orleans or Florida. Thanks

I would book Enchantment. She is hardly new but would do for a short cruise. Carnival's older vessels just do not appeal to us between the fact that they look their ages and have decor that is beyond tacky. We only consider Dream class ships on Carnival (or Sunshine). For shorter cruises that tend to be assigned to older vessels, I would go with Royal.
