Electronics to plug in

I haven't sailed on the POA, but one thing I know is that fleetwide, they don't allow "surge protector" cords as they may pose a fire danger. Another thing is a new policy where you must be in your cabin while you're charging batteries...the cabin steward's have order's to unplug all cords in unoccupied cabins.

They may allow power strips that do not have surge protector's. Another way to gain an extra outlet is to bring a travel converter that will allow you to plug in US type plugs into European type sockets...there is usually at least one or two in the cabin for the vacuum cleaner or the hair dryer.
