Premium drink package

Did the same thing yesterday. I was mad because my daughter is disabled and does not drink soda either. I couldn't even get them to agree to the basic soda card!

Try again onboard, you may have better luck.

But you will lose any pre-cruise discount they are offering.

Maybe book deluxe + refreshment now and see if they will let you cancel the refreshment on board?

For me I would have to purchase 2 Refresh packages for $191 per package, one for my husband and 1 for my daughter. I'm on a 9 day cruise. That results in $800 ish. I don't understand why they are insisting I buy a package for my daughter, she's completely disabled, all they want to see is her age, she's 30.

Call and ask to talk to a manager. I can tell you, it is possible to waive the requirement before cruising for special circumstances. Keep pushing. Refuse to book the package until they waive it. If you cave and book a soda package, then they have no reason to waive it.
