LuvinDisCruiser Posted February 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2018 We will have a group of 10, all adults, traveling in September. (I am planning for everyone) :o We will be celebrating my parents anniversary. I know both ships are older, I read the imagination had been renovated in 2016. Are there any major pros/cons of one over the other ? Anything that could make a difference in our decision to choose one over the other ? Is one in better condition ? Are the rooms (outside/window) better on one ship over the other ? Price seems pretty much the same for both. Please give your opinion, Thank you !!! SadieN Posted February 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2018 We’ve sailed on both over the years. Except for decor they are identical. Choose the best day to leave.

Markmom18 Posted February 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2018 Hi, I've been on a few ships Carnival & Royal with my Family, in various forms. Recently my Mom & I have been doing the 4 day cruises out of Long Beach. Carnival's Inspiration and Imagination. I've also done the 7 days to Mexico on the Carnival Splendor twice. Fun, happy, memorable, and spending time with my Mom -active 81 year old  (who lives in another state that is cold & snowy). Last February we flew to Florida for a 5 day cruise on the Carnival Elation (same class of ship). Another great time! What I don't like .... ciggie smell from the Casino wafting over to where Trivia is usually held. It just stinks! I don't have any fixes to it, except ban smoking. In which case, I wouldn't be vacationing with my own hubby, that would make me sad. So, I book, with full knowledge, and I have a wonderful 4 days cruise on Carnival "Clunkers". My opinion ..... book the cruise. :) Bobbi
