Thanks Ursula.:confused: What type of tour are you looking for? We just did a great tour with Geddes Hislop of Silver Thatch Excusions. He is a botonist and naturalist, so his tour is obviously geared to nature. We went bird watching on the other side of the island, away from the tourist areas, then spent a good bit of time at the botanic gardens. We learned a lot about the history of the island as well as about the plants and animals. He is a great tour guide, it was just 2 on our tour and we loved it. If this kind of thing interests you, then Geddes is your man. If you are interested in all the more typical touristy things, then hopefully someone else can give you advice on a guide for that. My sister did a good tour just hiring a cab driver in port and told him what they wanted to see. Turtle farm, hell, rum point etc. Hope this helps.
