jryansales Posted February 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2018 Stopping at Antigua for the first time & was hoping for a good suggestion for a beach day?! Maybe day passes or a local beach with a good restaurant/good drinks? I’m looking for something a little off the beaten path. Thanks in advance for advice!! Sent from my iPhone using Forums If off the beaten path you mean away from Herds and Towles. Then there are two, being Jacqui O's and Cecelia's (book lunch and your day well in advance). Neither are day passes, but if seeking a day pass then make an enquiry to Curtain Bluff, who sometimes spaces available. All three have excellent food, drinks and service. PORT ROYAL Posted February 8, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2018 Addendum to the above post. Friends in Barbados called yesterday evening. It was to inform me they have created a new word. As most know on CC there is a mention of Towles and Herds when discussing beaches in the Caribbean. What is it? You take the ERDS from Herds and prefix it with the T from Towles
